Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Rancher1 Gets it done It pressures up fast and delivers a good volume. So far just airing up big trailer tires and is very good at that. It is pretty heavy so have to move with a hand truck and it is pretty noisy so use ear protection. March 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by dave Great Small Compressor This is a great small compressor. Does not have a problem running Finish or Framing nailers. It is heavy though. A cast iron oil compressor is going to be no matter the size but knowing that going in this is a great little compressor that gets the job done. Would not expect it to be able to do a roof but for finish work or light framing (one gun) it does a great job. January 19, 2016

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by CSMO Problems from the start I would have given this product zero stars in all categories if possible. I bought Porter-Cable because prior purchases were very positive. Not this time. This compressor would not develop the proper pressure from the beginning, and yes, proper setup instructions were followed. At most, it would get to 50 psi. I took it to a service center, thinking perhaps it needed a new regulator. After a few weeks, the center informed me it needs a new pump; pumps are on back order until sometime in December. So, here I thought I had a new compressor (which I planned to use for a current project that needs to be done before winter), but I will not be able to use it for the first 3+ months - because it resides with the service center. I contacted Porter-Cable to see if the unit could be replaced; however, because I took it to the service center, it cannot be replaced if it can be repaired. I thought I was doing the right thing, but I should have just returned it to Home Depot. Live and learn. Extremely disappointed in this product, and with Porter-Cable for not backing up their product. October 20, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Dorado Great purchase I needed a small compressor in the barn to pump up the tires on all my carts and tractors etc. This doesn't take much space and is very powerful. Very happy with my buy. October 20, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JWALL True Work Horse THE GOOD: This is a smooth, and quiet running compressor that is built to last. This compressor is a great deal for the Money and a true work horse.pump up time from 110psi back up to 130 is 5-6 seconds. DO THE BREAK IN PER THE INSTRUCTIONS! Run unloaded for 20 minutes, then allow it to pump up pressure. Run the compressor for around 20 hours and change the oil to Amsoil Compressor pump oil. Yes the oil is $25 but you will get 3 oil changes out of 1 qt and it only requires changes every 8000 hours. This unit will last you a very long time if you treat it right. THE BAD: The unit is heavy, at around 67 lbs However it doesn't vibrate itself all over the deck like the pancake compressors. It does NOT include the hose but does have 1 quick disconnect already installed. January 18, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Brandon Great compressor but heavy. Works great and has been extremely reliable. The regulator it comes with is outstanding and I can dial it into whatever I want and know it wont budge. everything down to the drain valves is obviously high quality. Its about 63lbs so its not light. I have no problem bringing it up stairs and lugging it around to run my nail guns, fill tires, and even run a plasma cutter with it when I need to bring it somewhere. I have a big shop compressor too so this is strictly my portable. Dont skimp and buy an oiless- they dont hold up. I expect this to last a lifetime with proper maintenance. I built my house with it and experienced 0 problems. I suggest you get a 50' hose so you arent constantly picking it up to move a couple feet. I also suggest using amsoil air compressor oil. I purchased for much less on a popular auction site. Its not the loudest but not the quietest either. Id rate it about average for noise. April 13, 2015
